-The tanto is made of T10 steel with full clay tempered laminated in Maru structure and come with a full length Tang greatly enhances the strength of the sword while swung,Fully hand forged, hand shaping,hand polishing in the most traditional sword making method.Our master swordsmiths has applied a different thicknesses of clay to the edge and spine(back) of the blade respectively to control the rate at which the blades cools when quenching,turn into a harder edge and softer back.Also,the clay ensures carbon does not simply escape during this process.After the clay process,heat treating the blade,then quickly water quenching to make the edge(coated with a thin layer)cool faster,while the spine(coated with a thick layer) cools slower.Thus,what began an unavoidable consequence of the process was,a beautiful real choji hamon was appeared on the blade(quenching and tempering),turn into a mark of creativity and an art of beauty.The way to make the choji hamon require a rich experience to apply the clay and contol the temperature when quenching by Dremsword,also has a higher rejection rate.This blade has no bo-hi (blood groove) which can enhance its strength and cutting power.
-The tsuba is made of iron,and the Kashira and Fuchi are made of high quality brass with golden and silvery treated which has a high value for the collection,The saya is made by hardwood and put them through hacking,slotting,gluing,polishing and shaping treatment,and design proper degree of tightness for the sword blade to enter and out.The kurigata,koi-kuchi and koijiri are made of ox horn.
